Add LiveSchool, and the tools we use to run it, to your "trusted sites", sometimes called whitelisting, allowlisting, or blocklisting.

What is Safelisting?

Firewalls in schools are necessary, but can sometimes interfere with LiveSchool's ability to connect with your users and power your school's data.

Asking your IT department to safelist LiveSchool's domains ensures that the data we send through your school's firewall is recognized and we're able to provide the best performance possible.

‍All LiveSchool traffic is over ports 443 (HTTPS).

Domains to Safelist

To ensure the effective performance of the LiveSchool app, please safelist:

  • *.liveschoolapp.com

  • *.s3.amazonaws.com

  • *.firebaseio.com

  • *.segment.com

The * above should be included to ensure that all subdomains are also included on your safelist. Doing a wildcard safelist is necessary to not run into issues within the app.

After safelisting all of the above URLs, if you are still having issues, please contact support@liveschoolinc.com for a more complete list.
